What you think?

What you think? Im not asking im just saying. Your thoughts wont change my mind nor my plans. What you think? What you say wont mean a thing. What you think? That what you say goes, that i must follow your word like its gold. What you thing? Is just something that I'm saying just so you can feel involved. Honestly I'm really not paying attention to what your saying, I'm just trying to nice and you seem to take that to far.

The mean me

Honestly I'm not a mean person. A little hurt, but not mean. My mom always would say "every action has an equal and/or greater reaction", "you have to give respect to get respect", and "you must learn from your mistakes, or you will get nowhere". So knowing those things I built what is now my life. Still the one thing that I can't understand is; was my mother the only mother to teach their children that? I ask because other people in my generation(and some slightly older )seem not to understand, those simple concepts. For me i respect all till the disrespect me, and in the heat of the moment I normally give a greater reaction then intended. Then after that moment I sit back and learn from the actions I made, while also analysing the action they made. From there I make a discussion before I got to bed if our friendship is worth trying to fix. Still by the strange chance we end up back in the same situation, it turn in to a life changing learning experience. I say that because I will learn that trying to have a friendship with a personality like that is unhealthy for me. Which will end with me cutting that person completely off. People in my surrounding generation don't understand that you can't act the way you want to towards people. Then catch an attitude when the person reacts. You can't get mad at people for wants or get upset cause you disrespected them. That's insane. So to be fair if you think I'm being mean to you cause I cut you off, look at your self first; and think if what you did to me was done to you how would you feel. What would have been your reaction?

Your eyes

Your eyes oh your eyes. I see right through your eyes. They tell me sweet stories of mesmerizing lies. Lies that I listen to, too accept the reality of the truth. You think I believe them. You cling to the thought that I need you, but I don't need you. Need the lies you spit out your mouth. I'll be fine without you and those eyes. Eyes that lies when you say "I love you".

Dear, White Bosses w/ majority black employees

Dear, Bosses

As a black female employee working at a major Texas company, that migrated to the south (NC).  I have seen many managers and supervisors come from Texas and think that they can just talk anyway to a person of color and it's ok. The first manager was a female, the only way to describe her was rud. No matter if you was a manger or a regular employee, as long as you was black she was disrespectful. Now i have a manager that just don't know how to talk to people of color (black, hispanic, latino) it doesn't matter. Talking with him is challenging; it's s constent struggle not to punch him in the face. When he is trying to get his point across (which is everytime he opens his mouth) he talks to people like they are retarded. It makes you feel retarded for standing there and listening. They when a customer complains or don't want to work with him he don't understand what he did. Please white bosses when working with people from other races you must realize they were taught by their parents how to act and what to do. To survive in a world where they know they are not wanted. So they can see another day, because the race that thinks they are superior (white poeple) are concretely try to hurt them. So please learn how to talk to people and not at them.

Sincerely, Candi
